Come celebrate Big aLICe’s annual Pride Beer release with a night of live music by Sean Barna (from 5-8pm), food & more. A portion of the proceeds from the beer will go to LGBTQ Center of the Finger Lakes.

Fresh off a twenty-two date national tour opening for Counting Crows and on the cusp of releasing his second full-length record, An Evening at Macri Park, Seán Barna has become a defining voice in the art of queer storytelling. Featured in American Songwriter, Billboard Pride, NewNowNext, and Aquarian Weekly, Barna uses empathy, intensity, and his experiences living in NYC, Los Angeles, D.C., and now Philladelphia, to shine a light on the darker corners of the queer experience.

NPR's Bob Boilen, host of the Tiny Desk Concerts and podcast All Songs Considered, said Barna is, "a thrill to see... wearing Ziggy Stardust on his glittery sleeve," while Barna's seminal EP, CISSY, was called "a brilliant, giant statement about modern life and sexuality" by Counting Crows frontman, Adam Duritz.

Teagan Ward‘s words lament perspectives and stories of which each of us can relate regardless of age or circumstance. With her free-spirited attitude combined with her soul-tingling vocals, she would fit well with the likes of Janis or Stevie with lyrics rooted with inspirations from Mitchell and Taylor. Ward, pays homage to these influences by bringing their spirit and sound to this generation.

We are celebrating the release of a new beer!

Backyard 45 Funk
Kettle sour-aged in wine barrels with grapes from the backyard of Bierwax in Brooklyn NY. 6% ABV. This vintage was aged with the 2020 harvest of grapes from Bierwax in Brooklyn. "Backyard" referencing the back patio where these wine grapes grow. "45" referencing a type of record. And "Funk '' referencing both music and mixed culture beers. Bierwax is a craft beer and vinyl bar in NYC.

London Mcdaniel is an award-winning American Jazz-guitarist and Multi-instrumentalist. He will be playing solo guitar instrumental music, putting his masterful and unique spin on music covering a wide variety of artists and genres, from Louis Armstrong to Led Zepplin to Aretha Franklin. He was awarded a scholarship to Berklee College of Music and is a recent recipient of a 2021 Syracuse Area Music Award (The SAMMY's) in the category of "Best Jazz." He has taught at Cornell University, collaborated with platinum-selling hip-hop artists (Sex Mob, John Medeski, Chris Potter), and has worked with Nile Rodgers, Duff McKagen, Wes Arkeen (Guns n Roses) & Lenny Kravitz. Live music (from 5-8 pm) by: Tim Britt, of Buffalo, NY is a self-taught musician who got his start playing as a teen in the local clubs of his hometown of Whitesboro, NY. With an engaging personality and vocals that range from a soft vibrato to a raspy rocker, from an operatic falsetto to a mellow baritone, this solo acoustic act continually proves he can entertain a vast audience, and never fails to impress. His original songs have an appealing style of honesty with bluesy undertones and range from love songs, to contagious crowd sing-alongs.

Miller's Magnificent Munchies will have Ginger Bread People Cookies for patrons and their families to decorate. A basket provided by Miller will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefitting the Boys & Girls Club.

“Straight Laced Jazz” performs standards by the book with flair. Accomplished musicians, Lizzie Lipker (vocals), Rick Hoyt (guitar), Doug Henrie (bass), and Janelle Bradshaw (trumpet) will come together for this special event to warm us up for the holidays!

We will also be celebrating the release of our Breakfast Bodega Stout!

Big aLICe will also be providing a gift basket which includes a Magnum sized bottle of extremely rare barrel-aged beer, merchandise, and other accouterments. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club.

Come celebrate the release of a special beer close to our hearts, the Nitro Rover, and listen to some traditional Irish Tunes by Rochester-based group Innisfree.

Innisfree is Western New York’s longest-running Celtic music ensemble, founded as the “Genesee River Band” in the 1970’s! Current lineup has been together 30 years, and covers three counties: Kathleen Cappon of Walworth on accordions and guitar, Mark Deprez of Conesus on mandolin-banjo, Barbara Jablonski of Pittsford on hammered dulcimer and guitar, and Allen Hopkins of Rochester on mandola, octave mandolin and concertina. Lauren Balthrop, a folk-pop singer-songwriter hailing from Nashville, has a crystal-fueled voice. She is currently hard at work on her 2nd album produced by Nick Kinsey (of Waxahatchee and Kevin Morby) and is planning for an early 2022 release.

We’re also hosting an Autumnal Artisan Market (starting at 4pm), with food by Boston Farms- Bratwurst made with Big Alice beer and featuring local artisans:
