Taproom favorite Sam Nitsch is back!
Sam Nitsch is a versatile songwriter and performer who specializes in blending diverse musical styles and techniques. Starting his career as a classical violinist, Nitsch evolved his unique sound by incorporating multiple instruments and technology into his music. Emerging from the Rochester music scene in 2015, he has played at over 100 venues across the Northeast. In his live performances, Nitsch utilizes live looping of violin, bass, drums, vocals, and both electric and acoustic ukuleles to deliver an eclectic mix of music from various eras. An accomplished arranger and session musician, he has been featured in numerous artists' recordings, including background vocals for Josh Groban’s 2016 "On Stage" tour and producing the 2022 "Hype Song" for the Connecticut Sun WNBA team. Recently, Nitsch was commissioned by his alma mater to compose an original piece for string orchestra and has collaborated with local high schools to offer masterclasses and virtual student concerts during the pandemic.
